the Lord's my shepherd i 'll not want
He makes me down to lie
in pastures green He leadeth me
the quiet waters by

my table has Thou furnished in the presence of my foes
my head Thou doth with oil anoint
and my cup overflows
goodness and mercy all my life
shall surely follow me
and in God's house for ever and more
my dwelling place shall be

hey i ve studied in a convent school and this would be our principal's favourite quote. Though that time I didnt pay much attention to it, now whenever i come across it, it strikes a cord in me and a realise what she was trying to say. She wasnt sermonising or promoting christianity but just trying to make us realise that it is with the supreme being that our dwelling place is. He will always be thre to look after me even when no one else is
