the 'simble' life
Yes am back with free net. Haven’t written for some time so kind of bursting to put forward personalized nonsense on the net. So lets begin at the beginning or rather end of my engineering life.( this is gonna be e little long so kindly adjust)
So long long ago when yours truly was in engineering college she was one of the last ones in her batch to leave. Cochin didn’t want me to go so even waitlist 2 didn’t clear. The prospect of traveling loaded with bags containing stuff I never used in 4 years and my beloved computer berthless for 52 hours was a little bother so I waited. In between I went to my naad. Now Kannur is a north Malabar picturesque not so little place where if you cant speak or read Malayalam people will silently think you are one of those illiterates who are trying to bring down the state’s sparkling education record. There my parents were amply pitied upon for being stuck with a daughter who actually wants to study more and not settle down with nice mustached boy who works in Dubai. Moreover she actually doesn’t want to join Wipro and stay in Banglur.
From there my parents and I returned to my college where they packed(!!) my comp in nice plastic sheets which said Chakki brand atta and Tiger brand. This information is for all those people who asked me how I lugged my comp safely around.
We reached Delhi where the heat got me and I promptly fainted on the platform. Certain taxi wallahs hounding dad for a sawaari were rather amused at the sight and then promptly doubled their price. Btw,no one handsome hero came and sprinkled water on me,I just had my hysterical mum. At home I found all music channels have signed a contract with Himmesh Reshammya. And since I did not love sayonni that was the end of that.
I had developed a patchy thing on my hands so I went to the doc who told me after scratching arms wildly that I shouldn’t go out in sun and that if I do I should always be armed with an umbrella. So there I was dark and ugly propping up an umbrella to the disbelieving eyes of the model like light fenkti hui dilli ki ladkiyan.
Finally I reached NITIE on the 22nd and submitted my documents and by evening was promptly sick again. As a result I missed out on all the initial bonding and other initial stuff by the seniors. The classes began yesterday and unbelievably I miss my techie subjects. The teachers come promptly on time, put on the mike and ask you the difference between efficiency and effectiveness. I feel my mind going for a toss and realize this just the beginning. Most of my classmates are IIT-NIT guys with work ex and stuff so I go around dragging an inferiority complex slightly bigger than the continent of Eurasia.
Now I could go on and on but I rather leave it for the next post.
Oh and the only place I have seen in Mumbai is my hostel mess so till next!
